You’re scammed. Do you care if you were duped by an email, phone call, voice mail, text message, QR code, or a person in front of you? If you trusted a person – that person who built some sort of relationship with you – yes. Direct, personal fraud. I’ll pose this thought – yes, we classify the different person targeting mechanisms as phishing, vishing, smshing, quishing – primarily for conversation amongst the people learning to
SCRAM! Might say that to siblings or scammers.
